Aaron Elias Clement Noble Jr. was born on May 23, 1945 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the third of five children born to the late Aaron Noble, Sr. and Lucille Noble.
Aaron grew up and was educated through Savannah, Georgia's school system. He graduated from Alfred Beach High in 1963. Aaron was a gifted poet and artist. He was fondly referred to as "Hoop" because as a small man, Aaron was an excellent basketball player. Aaron's hobbies included chess, checkers, both of which he excelled. Aaron accepted Christ at an early age in Savannah, Georgia. Aaron's parents had all of the chldren baptized at First Bryant Baptist Church, and they all attended Sunday School. Shortly after graduating from high school, Aaron voluntarily joined the United States Army in 1963. He served in Company B Second Battalion Second Infantry. In January 1966, Aaron received the Vietnam National Service Medal (the "Purple Heart") for a fragment wound of his left arm. Also, in May 1966, Aaron received the Army Commendation Medal with "V" Device for heroism. On October 28, 1966, Aaron received and Honorable Discharge. When Aaron returned home from Vietnam, he was never the same, but he put in a good effort as a freelance artist. Aaron also worked as a cook. On Tuesday, September 23, 2008, Aaron slipped away quietly and peacefully at home, to be with the Lord. He will be sorely missed by all. He was preceded in death by sister, Eleanor Noble, and brother, Raymond Noble.
Aaron leaves to cherish his memories: brothers, Edward Noble and Jessie C. Noble (Isabella Noble); nieces, Valerie Turner, Jill Jeffreys and Joy Roberts; two grandnephews, Nicholas and Kyle; companion, Lillie Daniels; close family friend, Steven Graham and family; and a host of other family and friends.
