Alex Wilson Jr., a cherished member of the Savannah community, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 20, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on October 31, 1935, in Swainsboro, Georgia, Alex led a life marked by dedication, service, and unwavering commitment to the area he called home.

For many years, Alex diligently served as a Maintenance Operator with the City of Savannah, where his work contributed significantly to the upkeep and improvement of the city's infrastructure. His colleagues and friends remember him not only for his strong work ethic but also for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand. Alex took great pride in his role, embodying a spirit of community service that left a lasting impact on those around him.

Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday December 27, 2024 at Bonaventure Funeral Home 2520 Bonaventure Road Interment Greenwich section  of Bonaventure Cemetery.
