Alexander P. Forgetta II, 51 of Savannah GA, left this world on January 28th,
2022. He leaves behind a family that loved him unconditionally. Alex is
preceded in death by his Domestic Partner and love of 24 years, Yvonne Ciesla
of Savannah GA. His beloved son Nicholas A. Forgetta of Hacketstown, NJ.
Beloved Parents, Sylva J. and Alessandro P. Forgetta of Smiths Creek, MI. A
sister Liza Ruiz and her husband Gerald Ruiz of Smiths Creek, MI. 5 Nieces
and 1 Nephew. 2 Grandchildren Lydea and Henry Gibson. Many Aunts,
Uncles, Cousins, friends and extended family.
Alex was a Master Carpenter of over 30 years, successfully starting his own
business before joining the 2G Family. He found gratification in the creative
processes of building and renovation. With a refined love of many interests, he
expressed great talent in unique creative art and craftsmanship. Alex was an
unwavering fan of the New England Patriots.
Alex embodied a calming charm, and contentment in loving acts of
selflessness. His smile and generosity is memorable to all who knew him.
He found Savannah and its inhabitants worthy to claim as his own and made
his home here.
Alex will be greatly missed. May he rest easy in God’s hands and his memory
never fade.
