Althea Altman Dasher completed her earthly journey on Thursday, January 21, 2016. She died peacefully at her home in Garden City where she has lived for the past 60years.
Born on December 24, 1925 in Folkston, GA, she married George Bernard Dasher from Marlow, GA on February 28, 1941. He preceded her in death after 61 years of marriage.
She is survived by her 3 children, George T. (and Faye), Peggy Zeigler, and Mikell B. (and Linda). She is also survived by grandchildren, Aaron Dasher, Justin Dasher, Amanda Dasher Symonds, Nicole Dasher Kwasnick, Dwayne Zeigler, Debra Zeigler Tovar; great grandchildren, Mattison Dasher, Madeline Kwasnick, Landon Dasher, Julia Kwasnick, Weston Dasher, AJ Tovar, Jeyla Kemp, Logan Tovar, Emily Symonds, Elena Tovar, Ian Symonds, Amy Tolar, Anna Caroline Symonds, Todd Phillips; great great grandchildren, Hilliard Tolar, Danill Phillips.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 followed by a Service at 11:00 AM lead by Rev. Dave Rasmussen and George Dasher.
Burial: Hillcrest West Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Garden City in her honor.
