Amanda Jane Love Phillips, age 44, of Savannah, formerly of Rincon, passed away Wednesday February 6th, 2013 at Hospice Savannah after a long battle with breast cancer. She was a graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School and was employed with Kroger as a Delicatessen Associate.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents Elizabeth Jett Evans and H.H. Evans, Sr., and is survived by, and will be deeply missed by her parents, Sandra Jane Love and Harold D. Love; Children, Michelle Richardson (Mathew) of Savannah, Michael Phillips of Savannah, and Wayne Phillips, III of Rincon; Brothers, Michael Love (Amanda) of Savannah and Mark Love (Diane) of Savannah; 2 Nieces, Arieana & Adalyn Love and Nephew Brandon Harden, all of Savannah; 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles, numerous Cousins, her beloved bird Pepe and cat, Yo-Yo; and last but certainly not least, her pride and joy and only Grandchild, Hunter Richardson of Savannah.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 11th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Memorial Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Savannah Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home, with inurnment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah .
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah or The American Cancer Society in memory of Amanda.
