Blondine (Gale) Lee Miller

August 8, 1923 — December 23, 2015

Blondine (Gale) Lee Miller, of Statesboro Georgia, went to be with the Lord December 23, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her father Emit A. Lee, mother Eva Belle Mallard Lee, step mother Pauline Smith Lee, her sister Sara H. (Virgil IV) Simmons and her first son John R. Miller from Savannah, Georgia.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, John J. Miller who was the love of her life, one sister; Ramona L. (Hank) Niles. Her children Joseph E. Miller, Paulette Abernathy, a supportive daughter in-law, Kathy Miller, son in-law Wayne Abernathy, three grandchildren; Matthew Miller (Kelly)  of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Jennifer Eisinger (Justin) of San Diego, California, Jason Kirby of Phoenix, Arizona; three great-grandchildren; Andrew Miller, Kinsley Miller, and Kayden Kirby.
She loved her churches of Dean Forest Baptist in Savannah, Georgia and Lyndale Baptist in Richmond, Virginia. She worked and participated in many areas including the children’s and women’s ministries, she also volunteered at Beaufort Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

We will all miss her greatly, may she rest in peace and in God’s loving embrace.

Cards and condolences for the Family may be sent to the Miller Family at 9630 Kendrick Road, North Chesterfield, Virginia 23236.

Funeral services will be held in Savannah, Georgia at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, January 2, 2016 with services to begin directly afterwards.

Interment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
