The family and community of Bradley Scott Tatom mourn his loss as he finished a long, hard fight on
June 9, 2021, surrounded by his wife, children, parents and brothers. Brad was 50 years old. He was born in Reno,
Nevada on May 10, 1971 to parents Mark and Patty Tatom. After moving to Savannah, Georgia in 1986, Brad graduated
from Alfred E. Beach High School. His family was one of the most important things to him and in addition to his parents,
Brad’s brothers Brandon (Megan) of Savannah and Brett (Jennifer) of Richmond Hill were his heroes.
Brad married his wife, Holly, on June 10, 2006 in Savannah, Georgia. Together they had the privilege of raising
Kirsten (Clint), Jacob, Trevor (Adrianna), and Zachary. Brad loved being their dad and put them first in everything he did.
This pride and dedication grew with the birth his grandson, Lucas. Brad was a legendary local personality in Savannah,
Georgia and a consummate DJ, trivia and karaoke host, and emcee. He was the proud owner and operator of Five Point
Productions.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandson, parents, and brothers, as well as nieces and nephews: Carter,
Benjamin, Brianna, Brynn, Marissa, Joey, Sonnie, Nathan, Ryan, Cameron, Alayla, James, Gwen, Allie, Whitney and
Landon. Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Esther Phillips of Osage City, Kansas
and maternal grandmother Janet Hixon of Sparks, Nevada. They were all extremely lucky to love him and be loved by
him.
Brad’s life will be celebrated in a service at Bonaventure Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 12 at 2pm. Buck
Ormston will officiate. Pallbearers include brothers Brett and Brandon, sons Jacob and Trevor, son-in-law Clint, and
brother-in-law Mike. Following cremation, Brad’s remains will be scattered at Lake Tahoe at a later date. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association or Amputee Blade Runners (based in
Nashville, TN) in Brad’s honor.
