Mr. Charles (Hagood) Haywood entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Hospice Savannah.
He was born in Allendale, SC and was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Eva Hagood. He lived in Savannah for over 60 years and was a communicate of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church. He retired from Candler Hospital as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Haywood also retired from Union Camp Corperation. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by: two loving sons, Thaddeus Haywood (Regina) and Shedrick Haywood (Renee) all of Savannah, GA; devoted sister, Gertrude H. Mathis of Savannah, GA; sister-in-law, Jestine Hagood, of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery
