Daisy Shavers, known as Ms. Sweetie to everyone, born APRIL 14, 1932,
Savannah, Ga to the parents of Mingo and Bessie Mungin Shavers She received
the Lord in 1975, and attended Millers Temple, Savannah, Ga where she was
licensed missionary. She preached the word to everyone she met. She attended
Catholic school early child education, and Chatham County school system.
She was further education in nursing, she was also, the oldest member of
Lapageville Community. She was also a member of the prayer band in her church.
The youngest of three siblings, preceded in death by her mother and father,
Bessie Mungin and Mingo Shavers, one brother Rubin and one sister Rachel.
She is also preceded in death by five children, two daughters, Deloris Young,
Vanilla Shavers, 3 sons, Lige, Phil, and Stanley Shavers, she leaves to mourn three
daughters, Lenora (William)Baggs of Savannah Ga. Tabetha Shavers of Atlanta,
Ga., Demetrie (Bobby) Spells, One son, Dale Moore (Michelle) Stone Mountain.
She also to leaves to mourn 12 Grand-children and 20 Great-Great-Grands and a
host of nieces and nephews. A special nephew Donnie Shavers of Augusta Ga.
