Daniel J. Stavely, 82, of Green Cove Springs, Florida and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, died, Tuesday, February 2, 2016
He was born on February 21, 1933, in Davisboro, Georgia, the son of the late Harris Jule Stavely and late Mary Lee Stavely.
Danny Stavely was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Angela Stavely and the love of his life, Barbara Ann Stavely; sister, Betty Frances Stavely and brother, Raymond Joiner.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel “Mitchell” Stavely and wife Lori Jean Stavely, Anthony David Stavely; grandchildren, Mandie Marie Stavely,Jennifer Lynn Stavely, Anthony Stavely Jr, and Nicky Paul; brothers, Sammy Stavely, Paul Stavely and Jimmy Stavely.
He was a “Man of God, a Servant,” and a dedicated father. He was a member of Coastal Cathedral Ministries. His hobbies included golf and he dreamed of opening a Chicken stand and growing acres of tomatoes on God’s green earth.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, from 12 until 1 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. A memorial service will be held at 1pm, following the visitation, in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home. Friends invited.
