Doris Marks Romagosa, 91, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on March 31st, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
She is fondly remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her zest for life and genuine caring for others will continue to enrich the lives of many.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Lee Marks and Elfleda Marks. She was a graduate of Savannah High School. Doris was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp Women, during World War II and she was a charter member of St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years Veleor Joseph Romagosa.
Surviving are her sons, Mark Romagosa (Angie) and Rene' Paul Romagosa (Corey), daughters, Terry DiGiulio (Bob) and Lee Ann Romagosa (Allen), brother Allan Marks, sister Dixie Dickey, six grandchildren, Darcy, Ashley, Cathy, Mark, Amanda and Stephanie, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, Tuesday April 5th, 2016.
The Rosary Service will be at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00am Wednesday April 6th, 2016 at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
