Dorothy Floyd Brown

Mrs. Dorothy Floyd Brown, 79, passed away on November 20, 2007 at Memorial Health U.M.C. She was a long time member of St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church where she attended for over forty years. She was loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband of sixty six years, Reginald W. Brown Sr.; mother, Oreada Lane Lenny; two sons, Donald F. Brown, and Tony L. Brown (Gail) all of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Charita R. Brown (Ivan) of Savannah, GA, and Geea C. Aikens (Timothy), of Kansas City, MO; daughter-in-laws, Sharon D. Brown, and Beverly Brown Furman both of Savannah, GA; brother, Benjamin Floyd (Vera); sixteen grands; twenty-four great grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dorothy Brown will be held 1pm Tuesday at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church, 401 West 56th St., Pastor Troy Peters officiating. Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery. Visitation: Monday 6-7pm at the chapel, reposing at the church Tuesday 10am until hour of service.
