SAVANNAH - Dwon Lamar Williams, 33, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2008 at Memorial Health U.M.C. He graduated from Savannah High School in 1994, where he lettered in several sports. He coached football, basketball, and baseball at the Delaware Center. He was a self-employed contractor. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Lakeia Williams; three daughters, Dawona S. Williams, Damaya L. Williams, and Dasani D. Williams; mother, Elizabeth Moultrie Manning and step-father, Bret Manning; father, Rudolph Williams; two brothers, Antonio L. Williams and Michael Jackson; two sisters, Tresa R. Williams and Contina M. Williams Jackson (Jerome); mother-in-law, Jacqueline E. Allen; father-in-law, Ronnie B. Allen; sister-in-law, Teameika L. Magwood; six aunts; three uncles; four nieces; four nephews; one grand nephew; best friend, Ronnie Rocket; cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Dwon Williams will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. John Baptist Church, 522 Hartridge Street. Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7-8 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2009 in the Chapel of Williams & Williams Funeral Home.
