Earl Clayton Mccarr

Mr. Earl Clayton McCarr was born on May 13, 1947 in Guyton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mrs. Minnie Jordan. He was educated in the Effingham County and Savannah-Chatham County Schools. Earl graduated from Alfred E. Beach High School. He met and married Dorothy Kirkland on December 18, 1982. They were married for 33 years. To this union two sons were born, Alexander and Jaron.

Earl was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He was an Independent Truck Driver for more than 40 years. He was currently employed at Eagle Systems as an Independent Truck Driver for 20 years.

Earl was a quiet, soft spoken, calm natured man. He was a devoted husband and father who took great pride in taking care of his family. Earl quietly answered the Master's call on Friday, May 27, 2016.

His memory will always be forever cherished by his wife, Dorothy K. McCarr; two sons, Alexander Clayton McCarr and Jaron Adrian McCarr; three sisters, Doris Simmons of Lumberton, New Jersey, Cynthia Gibbons (J.B.) of Savannah, Georgia and Vernice Rasule of West New York, New Jersey; a sister-in-law, Thelma Irvin, Sr. (Freddie), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
