Elizabeth Elise New

Elizabeth Elise New, 57, of Savannah, Georgia went home to be with The Lord on December 6, 2024.

Elizabeth was born on March 18, 1967 in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from

Campbell High School of Smyrna and Georgia State University of Atlanta. She spent

numerous years in both Savannah and Smyrna enriching the lives of everyone she met.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Father Bill New and Mother Betty Chartier.

Throughout her life, she was dedicated to her paralegal work and volunteerism with the

Lions Club, Humane Society and battered women shelters.

Elizabeth was known for her kindness, humor, generosity and her love for music.

She also adored all things water; whether she was fishing, crabbing or leaving her footprints in

the sand at Tybee Island Beach, she created many beautiful waterfront memories.

Elizabeth made a profound impact on the lives of her family, friends, colleagues and

community. She cherished all the moments spent with those she loved. All who knew Liz (AKA,

Aunt Liz or Lizard) will hold her dear memory throughout their lives. She is genuinely loved and

will be missed.
