Mrs. Ethel Scott King passed away at Savannah Specialty Care Center on Wednesday April 25, 2007 at the age of 91. She was a member of the St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church where she was a director and teacher for the church's kindergarten in 1936 until 1940. She later became the chief musician in 1943, serving for 56 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Alice) Bond, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. William (Vera) Scott; several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Betty Wiggins and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Angela) Gray, all of Savannah, GA, cousins and other relatives and friends.Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Scott King will be held Monday April 30, 2007 at 11am from St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church. Interment: Catholic Cemetery. Christian wake Sunday 7-8 pm at the church.
