Ms. Reva Hardwick Scott, 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Memorial Health U.M.C.
Reva Scott was born in Midville, Georgia on April 16, 1921 to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Alethia Hardwick. She was educated in the Chatham County Public School system. She furthered her education at Georgia State College and Savannah Vocational School. Ms. Scott was a member of First African Baptist Church, Franklin Square. She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Thomas Edward Scott (Ronnie); two daughters, Marsha Scott and Sharon Scott; two grandchildren; three brothers, Robert L. Hardwick (Pearl), of San Antonio Texas, Roosevelt Hardwick (Lorraine), of Denver, Colorado, and Eugene Hardwick (Marietta); four sisters, Rosemary Worlds, Clara Hardwick, Charlotte Hardwick, and Charlesetta Cobb (Richard) of East Point, Georgia; aunt, Mrs. Lizzie Williams of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Reva Hardwick Scott will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at First A. B. Church, Franklin Square, 31 Montgomery St., Rev. Thurmond Tillman, officiating. Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Reposing at 9 a.m., until hour of service.
