On April 10, 2007, the Lord called his angel, Evangelist Harriette K. Golden, 71, home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso J. Golden, Sr. and her son, Derryn L. Golden. She was born and raised in Savannah, GA, where she attended area schools and graduated from A.E. Beach High School with the class of 1953. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was a devout Christian, founding the Family Missionary Prayer Band in 1975. She was a member of Peaceful Holiness Church, where she was President of the Pastor's Aid Board. She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Mattie Person of Cleveland, OH and two brothers, Eric Brooker, Sr. (Cynthia) and Lenion Brooker (Stephanie), both of Savannah; her children, Ronald Golden (Sharon) of Newport News, VA, Rhonda Robinson (Tyrone), Alfonso J. Golden, Jr., Kevin Golden (Diane) and Angela Williams (Carinthia), all of Savannah, GA; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2007 at New Salem Community Fellowship Church, 115 West 40th Street. Interment will follow at Old Church Cemetery (Sandfly Community).
