Mrs. Irma Ford Williams, 77, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was under the excellent care of Hospice Savannah.
She was a life long resident of Savannah, GA, born on July 19, 1936, to the late Ernest and Miriam Ford.
She attended Alfred E. Beach High School and was a member of Alpha and Omega Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Beverly M. Knight, Cynthia M. Lipsey, Patricia M. Dudley (Timothy), and Valerie Murphy; sons, Willie Murphy, III, Ephriam Williams (Chavatica)and Anthony Williams (Sylathia); sister, Alfreda King; adopted daughter, Sharon Coles all of Savannah, GA; twenty five grandchildren; two great grandchildren all of Savannah, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 5, 2013 at Alpha and Omega Worship Center, 4906 Pineland Drive, Bishop James P. Witherspoon, Jr., officiating. Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery.
