Isaac James Blue, age 86, of Savannah passed away on Monday, November 4th, 2013.
Isaac retired as a Warehouse Manager with the General Services Administration, was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps, a parishioner at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, and a member of the Falcons Club of Atlanta.
Mr. Blue was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Bogan Blue; son, James Koron "Kippy" Blue; 2 brothers, Isiah Blue and Earl Blue; and a sister, Gladys Rivers.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony & Sandra Blue of Savannah; 2 daughters, Cynthia Blue (husband A.J.) & Beverly Blue; 3 sisters-in-law. Marie Blue, Shirley Davis of Detroit, Michigan, & Laverne Grant of Savannah; 8 grandchildren, Tia Roberts of Atlanta, Jody Mayberry (Paul) of Texas, Sharnikra Blue of Savannah, Joy Herman (David) of Atlanta, Rachel Jones (David) of Savannah, Teresa Blue of Savannah, Amanda Woodford of Atlanta, and Anthony Blue, Jr. of Savannah; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10th, 2013 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, November 11th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
