Mr. Iverson Cleamons, 79, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Hospice of Savannah.
He was a native of of Carrie, Mississippi. He lived in Lakewood, NJ for fourty-four years. He lived in Atlanta, GA for thirty years and spent the past ten years in Savannah, GA. He was a member of Church of God in Christ. He was a master brick mason.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Janie Hill Cleamons; mother, Ollie Jane Gillham of Atlanta, GA; five daughters, Kathy Hubbard, Shelia Cleamons, Shelia Gamble, Ollie Cleamons, and Rufus Sims; nineteen grandchildren; one great grand; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Iverson Cleamons will be held 11:00 am, Monday, May 18, 2009 at Williams & Williams Funeral Home Chapel, with Bishop Bill Gilbert, officiating. Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery, with military honors, Beaufort, SC. Visitation: 10-11 AM, Monday at the funeral home.
