Jackson Fuller Jr., 76, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Candler Hospital. He was a native of Liberty County and lived most of his life in Savannah. He was a member of Second Bryan Baptist Church where he served as the chairman of the deacon board. He was also the president of the choir, on the trustee board, served on the mission board and superintendent of the Sunday school. He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife, Rosella W. Fuller; four sons, Darnell Fuller, Craig Fuller, Keith Fuller, and Kenneth Fuller; seven daughters, Jacqueline Fuller Andrews, Brenda Mason (John), Beulah Fuller, Rose Mary Lofton (Michael), Carolyn Jackson (Abraham), Courtney Fuller, and Kiawanna Fuller; three brothers, Horace Fuller (Edna) of Chicago, IL, Charlie Fuller (Mae) of Richmond Hill, GA, and Esau Fuller (Olivia) of Midway, GA; three sisters, Carrie Bell Campbell of Chicago, IL, Helen Bobien (Freddie), and Ophelia Brunson (Robert) both of New York; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Deacon Jackson Fuller, Jr. will be held 11:00am Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Second Bryan Baptist Church, 744 East Waldburg Street, Rev. Frank Ellis, Jr. officiating. Interment: Woodville Cemetery. Reposing at the church Thursday, July 23, 2009, 9am until hour of service.
