Jacqueline de Nedde Davis (formerly Jacqueline de la Guéronnière) passed away on August 2, 2010, in Savannah, Georgia, where she had lived since 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Graham Davis. She is survived by her four children: Sylvie-Anne (Bill) Petrilla of Easley, SC, Arnaud (Cheri) de la Guéronnière of Bethel, CT, Armide de la Guéronnière of Savannah, GA, and Charles de la Guéronnière of New Orleans, LA; six grandchildren: Oliver (Kim) Waite of Geneva, Switzerland, Whitney Cheshire of Albuquerque, NM, Gabrielle de la Guéronnière of Washington D.C., Philip de la Guéronnière of New York, NY, Paul de la Guéronnière of New Orleans, and Lisha de la Guéronnière of New Orleans, LA; and five great grandchildren.
Jacqueline was born in Algeria (North Africa), daughter of Etienne and Germaine Sabouret de Nedde. She grew up in France and relocated to New Orleans, where she raised her family. In later years, she resided in New York City, San Francisco, and cities throughout Florida, where she worked in real estate sales. She also was a devoted dog lover. She attended art classes after she retired, and was a talented watercolorist.
A Memorial Service for Jacqueline Davis will be held October 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home with Father Mariusz Fuks celebrate.
