James Tyrone Jenkins (Amin), 50, passed away at home in Atlanta on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. He was born and lived most of his life in Savannah, Georgia. He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He was affectionately known to many as "Amin". He leaves to cherish his most precious memories : wife, Deborah M. Jenkins; mother, Leola Jenkins; two daughters, Malikah Knox and Amirah Reeves; two step-daughters, Monique Mobley and Janae Lark; three grandchildren, Monae Mobley, Rayquan Fields, and Raven Mobley; six sisters, Marie Harris, Vera Jenkins-Gardner, Barbara Elaine Jenkins, Phylliss Jenkins-Bright, Debbie L. Jenkins, and Angela Bright; two brothers, Gregory Walker and Lindsay Bostick; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007, 11:00 A.M. at ST. Philip Monumental A.M.E. Church (Park Ave. and Jefferson St.), the Rev. George A. Moore, Jr. officiating. Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery in Greenwich Section.
