James Perry Deloach 54 passed Saturday July 16, 2016 at Memorial Health U.M.C.
James Perry “PaPa” Deloach was born on September 11, 1961 to Mr. Henry Lewis Griffin and Johnnie Deloach in Savannah, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School.
Mr. Deloach was employed by several companies including: Gibson Home Furnishings, and the Budweiser Plant. He was a lover of life and could always be heard telling a joke. He was usually the life of the party and could be counted on for a good laugh or two. Mr. Deloach loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: mother, Johnnie Deloach; and his father Henry Lewis Griffin.
He leaves to cherish his memories: five sons, James Perry Deloach, Jr., Lorenzo Perry Weston, Travis Lamar Weston, James Deloach, and Benton Deloach; two daughters, Antaniece Chaplin-Latson (Ralphelle), and Kadeisha Milton; eleven grandchildren, J’niya Weston, Jakiah Weston, London Weston, Lorenzo Weston, Jr., Tonysha Chaplin, Rayana Latson, a’Rayana Chaplin, Ramaya Chaplin, RaLynne Chaplin, Saraya Chaplin, and Shayanne Chaplin; great grand, Janiyah Chaplin; two brothers, Cornell Griffin, and Andrew Deloach; one sister, Lillie Mae Deloach all of Savannah, GA; special friend Angela Robinson; longtime girlfriend, Teresa Lonon; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. James "Papa" Deloach will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Chapel of Williams & Williams Funeral Home, 1012 East Gwinnett Street. Rev. Clarence Williams officiating. Interment, Private
