Jewel “Nina” Lanigan Finn, 84, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 22 at Hospice Savannah following a long illness.
She was born in Claxton, Georgia to Algerine and Bertie Lanigan on November 18, 1931. She married Joseph James Finn on August 24, 1950.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Carey of Pooler, Georgia, Doreen Long (Tommy) of Savannah, Georgia and Peggy Finn of Knoxville, Tennessee. She had five grandchildren, Melanie Carey Gaul (Rob) of Pensacola, Florida, Sean Long and Kelly Long of Savannah, Georgia and Joseph Brian Stafford (Kendra) of Corryton, Tennessee and Emily Stafford of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Savannah. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday at Hillcrest Abbey East – Wheaton Street, Father Mark J. Ross presiding.
