Jimmy Roger Kersey, 60, of Savannah, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Memorial Medical Health University.
He was born in Savannah, and was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Beckworth, father, James Kersey, mother, Frances Davis, two sisters, Dorothy Lott and Patricia Wilson, and his special Uncle, Buster Davis.

He was a lifelong resident of Savannah, Jimmy was an avid boater and fisherman. He loved camping and being with friends. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church. He was a member of the Savannah Parrot Head Club where he did lots of volunteer work. He was a retired Distribution Supervisor from Savannah Electric/ Ga Power and was currently employed by Coffey Utilities.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cindy Kersey, and son Dustin Kersey, stepmother, Sybiel Kersey, sister, Donna Buttimer, Vickie Callaway (Bobby), brother,David Silva (Carol), and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel, of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Remembrances: Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah,Ga. 31405.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
