John William Daly

John William Daly, born Jan 9, 1943, in Augusta, Georgia, deceased September 28, 2015.
He grew up on 1560 15th Street, in Augusta, Ga, and moved to North Augusta in 1951.  He grew up a member of First Presbyterian Church of Augusta.
Graduated from North Augusta Senior High in 1961, and was Class President all four years and a running back for the Yellow Jackets.
Graduated from Taylor University and earned a M.B.A. from Ball State University.
Returned to Augusta upon finishing school and worked for Kendall for 25 years.  He retired early and moved to Hilton Head where he owned the Frozen Moo Ice Cream Parlor.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and the Millhaven Plantation Hunting Club.
He was predeceased by his father, John J. Daly, Jr., and his mother, Sarah Bryngelson Daly.
He leaves two sons, Christopher W.T. Daly of Savannah, and John-Joseph Franklin Daly of Hilton Head, their wives Pamela Denise Daly and Alicia Dickson Daly.
Grandchildren include Kathleen Elaine Daly, Sarah Elisabeth Daly and Emily Anne Daly of Savannah and William Tuggle Daly and Thomas McCollum Daly of Hilton Head Island.
Funeral Services:  12 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
