Mr. Leroy "Pig Cowboy", 58, Gadson had his transition on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Memorial Health U.M.C.
He was a native of Chatham County and lived in Savannah all of his life. He was in the United States Navy. He was employed as a steel worker for Ductile Iron Company. He was a former member of Betheden Baptist Church. He attended public schools of Chatham County.
Surviving: three sons, James "Jimmy" Armstrong, Rashenen M. Gadson (Fatisha), and Jacob Gadson of Hinesville, GA; two daughters, Kiwonda Tolbert of Beaufort, SC and Cherita Gadson Dean; two brothers, Solomon Gadson (Rose), and Vincent Gadson (Albertha); three sisters, Juliette Gadson Kyles (Garfield, Sr.), Albertha S. Morris (Clover, Sr.), and Janice M. Gadson-Anderson; eight grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Gadson will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 27, 2010 from St. Paul C.M.E. Church, 1601 Barnard Street, Rev. Da'Henri r. Thurmond, Sr. Pastor, Rev. Dr. Leonard Small officiating. Interment, Jackville Cemetery, Bluffton, SC. Reposing at the church from 9:00 am until hour of service.
