Lewis A. Denison, Sr., 94, of Savannah, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Health University.
He was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia Tomlinson Denison, and his parents, Louis B. Denison and Blanch Hiers Denison.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army.
He was the owner / operator of Denison Cabinet Company until he retired in 1990.
He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, The Exchange Club of Savannah, Solomon’s Lodge # 1, F. & A.M’s, Alee Shrine Temple, where he served as a member of the Patrol Unit, and George K. Ganem American Legion Post # 185, in Thunderbolt, Ga.
He is survived by a daughter, Frances Denison O’Neal (Bobby), Savannah, Ga; a son, L.A. Denison, Jr., Savannah, Ga; 2 grandsons, Gary C. Hart, and Adam Denison; 1 granddaughter, Shelly Rudolphi, and 4 great grandchildren, Joshua Rudolphi, Elliott Rudolphi, Victoria Lewis, and Megan Denison.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, with interment in Bonaventure Cemetery.
