Lucille Wright

Lucille Wolfolk Wright was born on May 23, 1946 to the late Joe and Ruth Wolfolk Sr. Lucille was a graduate of Tompkins High School. She attended Armstrong state College. Lucille was a Baptist and a member of Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church. Her father was one of the founding fathers along with the first pastor and another brother. Her mother Ruth Baker Wolfolk was one of the original members of the Usher board. Her father was the Usher board president.

Lucille worked several jo0bs throughout her life which led her to devote most of her time to helping others. Just to name a few, she worked as a nurse's aide at The Old Chatham Nursing Home now Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center. She also worked as a HST, Senior at Georgia Regional Hospital which she retired from after 20 years of dedicated service.

Lucille was married to the late Theomas Wright Sr. Lucille had birth children and she adopted children. She was a loving and devoted mother.

On June 23, 2017 one month after her 71at birthday, Lucille went home to be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, International Version (NIV)

Lucille was proceeded in death by: parents, Joe and Ruth Wolfolk, husband, Theomas Wright Sr.; two sons, Theomas Wright Jr. and Donald Thomas Wright; brother Earl Wolfolk; two sisters Elizabeth Wolfolk and Helen W. Virgil; and nephew, Ricky Wolfolk.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted family: children, Lucinda Dunbar (Michael K.) Angela Brown (Willie K.) Antonio Jermaine Wright, and Earnestine Parker Johnsom; grandchildren, Angeliaque King-Ashley Brown, Andriana Tina Patricia Brown, and Angellici ana Mia Lucille Brown; great grand Londen Brown; sisters, Josie Mae Middleton, Georgia Gray (Alan B.), Delores Ruth Wolfolk, and Shirlene Wolfolk; and brothers, Joe Wolfolk Jr. Benjamin Wolfolk, Johnny Lee Wolfolk (Cheryl) and Ronald Wolfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Wright will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2017 from Goodwill Baptist Church, 816 Bowden Street. Interment Laurel Grove South Cemetery. Rev. Alphonso C. Piper, Sr. officiating. Reposing from 9am until hour of service.
