Marques Centel Jones was born on May 19, 1984, the son of Deborah A. Jones and James W. Jones and his wife, the late Pearl Jones.
He was baptized at an early age in the Methodist Church. He attended the Chatham County Public School System and was a proud Windsor Forest Knight student.
Marques had a long history of employment at various food establishments.
Marques was a loving father, the favorite uncle, the one who made all his nieces and nephews smile and happy. He was a passionate and skilled cook, a free spirit, a caring and supportive son, father and brother who enjoyed spending time with his children, mother and family.
He is survived by his loving mother, Ms. Deborah A. Jones; his father, Mr. James W. Jones; grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Scott; grandfather, Mr. William Jones of Axton, Virginia; two daughters, Ky'mani Lovewine and Aliya Jones of Savannah, GA; sisters, Tawanna Jackson (Andre) and Shantea Jones of Savannah, GA; brothers, Brian Jones (Shaquita Graham) and Jason Arthur -Baidoo of Savannah, GA; loving neices and nephews, Theron Ward Jr, Raven Ward, Jada Sams, Shania Sams, Brianna Jones, Geremiah Jones, Ray' Ona Pace and Royal Marshall all of Savannah, GA ; aunts and uncles, Arthur Allen (Brenda), Constance Kennedy (Leroy ), Sylvia Lamb (Ron), Angela Black, Althea Jackson ( Willie), Vincent Black and Vera Trappio (Moses ); a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
