Mrs. Mary Kelson Green, 84, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 1, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Mrs. Green was a member of Faith Hope Charity Ministries, under the pasturage of Bishop William Gilbert. She was the wife of Mr. John Green for forty years who preceded her in death eight months ago. Mrs. Green was also preceded in death by four of her children.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Evangelist Geraldine Parmley (Lonzell); son, Anthony Kelson; seven grandchildren, Steven Dent (Tiffany), Yolanda V. (Mendosa), Lonzell Parmley (Shu), Douglas Clarke, Dale Simmons and Melinda Simmons; a number of grands, and great-grands; three sisters, Virginia Simmons, Laura Chisholm, and Lottie Mae Odums; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Bible and Prayer Ministries, 1902 Waters Avenue. Interment: East Savannah Cemetery. Pastor Verelene Warnock, Eulogist.
