Mildred Smart

Mother Mildred “Tomer” Smart was born on March 23, 1933 in Savannah, Ga. On July 7th, 2022 at Candler Hospital, Mother Mildred was called home to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her brother Bogg Johnson and sister-in-law Regina Johnson, her godson LeeAundre Bell, a special and well loved nephew Darryl Johnson (Taneal), her caretaker, niece, and daughter at heart Cynthia Demery( Larry Demery). A host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Smart, parents Sarah and Bogg Johnson, sisters RosaLee Hill of Newark, NJ, Jennie Mae Washington of Savannah, Ruth Johnson of Savannah, Helen Mayes of Newark, NJ, and Thelma Bell of NJ, her niece Shirley Bell, grand nephews Furquan Noah Raschke and Ahi Raschke, grand nieces Rockelle Mikell and Stefenia Heyward, and her great grand nephew Sahir Minitee.

Mildred’s life will be celebrated on July 16,2022 at 1PM
