Mills B. Lane, 79, of Savannah, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015. He went home to his wife of 57 years, who passed last year. He is survived by his two sons, Mills E. Lane and Marty Lane; two granddaughters, Christy Lane and Tiffany Lane; one great granddaughter, Katriana Burgess. He lived for the church and devoted himself to his Heavenly Father. He was a hard worker having worked for Union Camp for 45 years and 55 years of painting on the side. His favorite saying was “You've got to work to live.” In that regard he lived a full life. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9 from 10-11 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Cecil F. Gray, officiating. Interment will follow in the Millen Cemetery, Millen, Georgia.
