Myrna Ruth Hagan Hall
Myrna Ruth, age 75, passed away in Butner, North Carolina on March 5, 2013 after a long illness. She was born in 1938 in Savannah, Georgia and graduated Savannah High School in 1955. She was a lover of music and science. As a skilled pianist, she enjoyed sharing her love of music and Christ by playing for several local Savannah churches in her younger years. As a research technician, she worked for Centers for Disease Control in the tropical research division when it was located on Oatland Island outside of Savannah. As a trained phlebotomist, she worked for Memorial Medical Center in Savannah and also for Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed travel. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie and Juanita Hagan of Savannah, and sister Janice Mack of Cary, North Carolina. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie Hall of Butner, North Carolina and two sons, Craig Hall of Wake Forest, North Carolina and Mark Hall of Charleston, South Carolina. She is also survived by a brother Harvey A. Hagan, Jr. of Rincon, Georgia and sister Ann Ledford of Midway, Georgia, as well as a beloved granddaughter Lindsey Hall, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, East.
