Nellie Dasher Freyermuth

October 4, 1921 — June 3, 2016

Nellie Dasher Freyermuth, 94, of Bloomingdale, Ga., and formerly of Garden City, Ga., died June 3, 2016 at the residence of her daughter.
She was born in Marlow, Ga., to the late George and Ethel Dasher, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Belton Freyermuth.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and the last few years, she had attended Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Chancel Choir at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and took care of the Books for many years for the Sunday School. She was active on the Bereavment Committee, and was active on the Altar Guild of the church.
She was very active in the Lutheran Ladies Guild, and she was always willing to help anytime, that something was needed for the Church.
She loved her family, and she was a very dedicated wife, always helping her husband, as he prepared food for the Masons, Union Camp, and Church Functions.
She was very active in her husband’s 30th MP Division Functions, with the U.S. Army.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlene (Lyle), grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth Davis (Justin), Eathen Derefes Davis, III (Dojuana), and Gregory Reese (Rebecca), a great grandson, Westin Hoss Reese, 3 sister in laws, Lois Dasher, Margaret Freyermuth, and Deloss Freyermuth, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Kit Lamb, Kim Adams, Patti Brown with 4Front Hospice; Ben Johnson, Klee Marks, Vanessa Patrick, and Kristie Whitley.
Visitation: 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Services: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Rasmussen, officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery at Springfield, Ga.
Pallbearers will be: Eathen Derefes Davis, III, Bruce Freyermuth, Glenn Dasher, J. W. Porter, Larry Porter, and Robert McCullough.
