Deacon Paul Campbell passed away peacefully on April 12, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Deacon Campbell received his education through the public school of Ridgeland, South Carolina. Deacon Campbell joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age, where he served in various capacities in the church as a Trustee Board President, member of the Willing Workers and a choir member. He retired from CSX Railroad after 40 year of service.
He is survived by his wife Christine W. Campbell, one daughter, Yolanda C. (Anthony) Stewart of Lawrenceville; two sons, Gregory P. (Gina) Campbell of Savannah, Dwayne H. (Tonya) Campbell of Lawrenceville; three sisters, Ethel Mae Campbell of Boston, MA, Erdell C. (Frank) Holmes of Seattle, WA, Frances C. (Julius) of Savannah; four sisters-in-law, Thelma H. Campbell, of Savannah, Rosa Campbell of Camden, NJ, Gracie Waldburg of Dacula, Juanita (Charles) Roberts of Savannah; three brothers, in-law: Richard (Nadine) Waldburg of Jamaica NY, John (Floreta) Waldburg of Stone Mountain, Jake (Gilda) Waldburg of Richmond Hill; six grandchildren, three great- grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 535 Berrien Street. Interment: Bryan Neck Cemetery, Richmond Hill, GA. Reposing at the church Tuesday 9:00 AM, until hour of service.
