In the summer of 1938 JD and Vivian Ware were blessed with the birth of their son, Pearison Ware in Groveland, Georgia. Pat as he was affectionately known was the third of four children. Pat received his formal education in the Bryant County School system. As a young man he worked in several occupations. In 1960 he ventured to Miami, Florida where he met and married Karolyn Rolle, who preceded him in death. To this union three children were born: Felicia Ware-McDade, Keir (who preceded both his parents in death), and Lakeisha Ware.
Pat was a very self directed young man who possessed strong work ethics. He worked many occupations where he applied himself whole heartedly. Although, he was not formally trained in the area of business, one of his strongest attributes was that he was very wise in money matters. Pat worked for Eastern Airlines for over 20 years until the company closed its doors. This prompted him to follow in his fathers footsteps and become an entreprenuer.
In 1987, he opened his own business as a Tree Surgeon. Of course, knowing Pat, he started out with nothing no less than the state of the art machinery. Despite his many indiscretions, he always saw that his immediate family needs at home were met. As an adult, he was baptized in the Baptist Faith, and attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church for a number of years.
Pat loved life and he lived it to the fullest. He loved the best clothing, shoes, cologne, jewelry, fine cars, and food. He loved a good party and having friends around. You could always tell when he was in the room by the heartiness of his laughter. It was very distinct. At times he strayed from the norm, but yet he was still loved.
He was preceded in death by: father, JD Ware; grand-daughter, Nakeira McDade; and step-son, Dwayne Rolle.
Pat leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Felicia and Lakeisha; grandsons, Brandon and Eric; Vivian Battey (mother); siblings, Eleanor Hamlet (Robert), Bankise Cross (Daniel),and Hulon Ware (Annie Dell); sisters-in-law, Fredricker Rhodriquez (Reginald),and Mamie Rolle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Williams & Williams Funeral Home.
