Robert Marshall Warren, 84, of Savannah, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 at Hospice Savannah, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Smoaks, South Carolina, and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mobley Warren.
He was a graduate of Commercial High School, where he was a member of the Cobra Club, and he attended the John Marshall Law School. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church, where he served as a Deacon and Usher. He was a lifelong member of Savannah Christian Church. He was a member of the Pro Life Movement, and the CSX Retirees Club. He was a Bible Teacher at John Wesley Villas until two months ago. He served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by a son, Robert Mark Warren, Savannah, Ga; 2 daughters, Lisa Warren Holloway (Stephen) of Savannah, Ga; Lori Warren Newsome (Nicolaus) of Rincon, Ga., and a sister, Carolyn Warren Simmons of Savannah, Ga. 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Sauerland Johns (Jason), Savannah, Ga., Leia Brahmbhatt (Sam) Savannah, Ga; Nicholas Holloway and Jordan Holloway, both of Statesboro, Ga; 3 great grand children, River "Daddy Rabbit" Holloway, Statesboro,Ga; Windsor "Mr. Handsome" Johns, Savannah, Ga; and Farrah "Miss Pretty" Brahmbhatt of Savannah, Ga.
Daddy and Pappy you are so very loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation: 5 - 8 p.m Monday at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Savannah Christian Church (Main Campus Sanctuary), with interment in HIllcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
