Roger Lee Peacock

Roger Lee Peacock, 67, of Savannah, Ga., died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Memorial Medical Health University.
He was born in Yankton, South Dakota, and was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Grant Peacock and Esther Friese Peacock.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was awarded the
National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, with FMF Combat Insignia, and the
Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device Combat Action Ribbon. While serving in the US
Navy, he attended the Class A Hospital Corps School, and the Field Medical Service School. He served as a Corpman for the U.S. Marines while in Vietnam.

He moved to this area in 1992, from Charlevoix, Michigan. He was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was the owner - operator of Peacock's Florist on 37th Street., since 1992.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Peacock, Savannah, Ga; 3 sons, Michael Cuddington (Sharon),Brighton, Michigan; Christopher Cuddington (Kelly Tankersley), Brooklet,Ga; and Richard Schue(Michelle) of Howell, Michigan; brother, Merrill LaRae Peacock of Alaska; sister, Sharon Peacock Wright, of Savannah, Ga; and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Glennville, Ga., with Honors presented by the U.S. Navy.
