Mrs. Sarah Adams, 89, passed away at home after a long illness.

She lived in Savannah for most of her life. She was a member of Bryan Neck Baptist Church, Richmond Hill, GA, until she moved to Savannah. She then became a member of First Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five sons, Willie Oliver, Thomasville, GA, Thomas Oliver, Washington, DC, Julian "Sam" Oliver, Richmond Hill, GA, Walter Oliver, Hartford, CT, and Pastor Horace "Rocky" Oliver, Midway, GA; seven daughters, Carolyn Bowling, Helen Oliver, Marie Collins, all of Savannah, GA, Georgia M. Rodgers, Brooklyn, NY, Margaret Sellow, Paterson, NJ, Janie O. Belton, Hartford, CT, and Fannie Ponder, Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Oliver Adams, Toledo, OH, John Waldburg, Atlanta, GA, Jacob Waldburg, Richmond Hill, GA, and Richard Waldburg, Jamaica, NY; three sisters, Christine Campbell, Juanita Roberts of Savannah, GA, and Gracie Waldburg, Atlanta, GA, fifty six grandchildren, a host of great grands, great-great grands, great-great-great grands, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Adams will be held 1 p.m., Saturday at First Union Baptist Church. Interment: Bryan Neck Cemetery, Richmond Hill, GA. Visitation: 7-8 p.m., Friday at the Church. Reposing at the church Saturday 10 a.m., until hour of service.
