Mrs. Tammy Vanessa Williams, 53 passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Meadows Regional Memorial Hospital in Vidalia, Georgia.
Tammy was born on February 28, 1963 in Savannah, GA to Roslyn Williams and the late Charlie Williams. She was educated in the Chatham County Public School system and graduated from Richard Arnold High School.
She built a life with Harold Johnson spanning over 36 years. They spent the last 16 years living in Vidalia, GA. Their union was blessed with four children and four grandchildren. Tammy worked for the Wal-Mart Corporation. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Emily Denise Williams.
Tammy leaves to cherish her memories: Harold Johnson Sr.; daughter, Shannon Smith (Morris); three sons, Harold Johnson, Jr., Terrence Johnson, and Jarelle Johnson; two stepchildren, Olivia and Marion Dingle; four grandchildren, Amaria Smith, Kaden Smith, Harold Johnson, III, and Char 'lee Johnson; three step grandchildren, Brian, Phaith and Kaylee Dingle; three brothers, Charlie Williams, Jr., Michael Anthony Williams, and Rodney Williams (Margaret); four sisters, Eleanor Williams, Roslyn Diane Samuels, Carol Thomas (Timothy), Survelle Thomas (Kenneth), Yoshabell Christie (Ramon); special friend Melissa Dingle; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
