Terry Charles Hill, age 61, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Graveside rites will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery with Rev. John Haney officiating. Kenny Hill, Dan Royal, Andrew Gill, Julian Sullivan, Timothy Evans and John Eden will serve as pallbearers.
Terry was born August 11, 1949 in Savannah to the late Kenneth Hill and Laverne Hayslip Hill, who survives of Savannah. Terry married the love of his life on September 27, 1969. He was the owner and operator of Happy Bear Pressure Cleaning and Painting for 35 years. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving from 1967-1973. He was currently serving as President of the Effingham Hunting Club, a member of the Karios Prison Ministry and a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Anne Evans Hill of Savannah, two sons and daughters-in-law: Bryan Hill and wife Jennifer of Port Wentworth, Brandon Hill and wife Melissa of Rincon, a daughter, Megan Amber Hill of Savannah and his grandchildren, Collin Hill, Alexis Hill and Mahalley Mathews and his beloved pet, Izzy.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday evening, August 1, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
