Thelma Coleman

Thelma L. Coleman, 77, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Candler Hospital. She was a native of Pulaski, GA, but later moved to Savannah, GA. She was a member of Little Bryan Baptist Church where she served on the Pastor's Aide Board, was a member of the Choir, on the Culinary Committee, and a Deaconess. She was also a former Sunday School Superintendent. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Oscar C. Williams (Shirley), Charles C. Coleman and Arthur L. Coleman; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one Godchild, Joi Lucus; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Little Bryan Baptist Church, 4110 Heard Street. Interment: Greenwich Section of Bonaventure. Visitation: 6-7 p.m., Friday at the Church. Reposing at the Church from 9 a.m., until hour of service.
