SavaSavannah (Wilmington Island)- Vivian Clotfelter Payne, 87, Died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at high tide at home surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home with Pastor Lionel Marmolejo officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Timothy Ansley, Winston Steele, Jerome Watson, David Williams, Jason Moss, Mike William serving as casketbearers.
Born in Bogart, GA July 14, 1921 to the late Steven J. and Ruth Griffeth Clotfelter She retired from the Great Dane Trailor as a Supervisor in the Parts Department. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Earl Payne.
Surviving are her daughters Jackie P. Moss & her husband Jack of Wilmington Island and Sandra P. Ansley also of Wilmington Island. Her Grandchildren Nicole A. Waston & her husband Jerome and Timothy B. Ansley and his wife Susanne, Jason Moss,
Judd Moss, 4 Great -Grandchildren, Payne W. Watson, Owen M. Watson, Caroline S. Ansely, Mary Alexandra Ansely. Brother, Lamar V. Clotfelter of McDonough, Ga.
