William James Bush (Bill), 61, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 31, 2011.
Bill was born in Colquitt, GA on July 11, 1949 to the late Jesse Bush and Helen Johnson Bush. He attended Bainbridge High School and graduated with the class of 1969. Bill went on to attend Armstrong Atlantic State University where he received an Associate Degree in Nursing.
He retired in 2001 as Campus Supervisor of Georgia Regional Hospital of Savannah after a 32 year career.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jessie Bush and Henry Bush.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rosemary S. Bush; two sons, Clarence Taylor and Mark Bush (Brandy); four daughters, Michelle Mitchell, Porschia Mitchell, Chant'a Parker, and Marcia Parker; five sisters, Ann Rudolph, Mary Bush, Ellen Morgan (J.T.), Juanita Miller (Willie), and Geraldine Peters (Adolphus); two brothers, Milton Bush (Olivia), and Michael Bush (Carelle); a mother-in-law, Albertha S. Trappio; nine grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Mr. William J. "Bill" Bush will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Real Life Christian Fellowship Church, 841 Crossgate Road, Port Wentworth. Interment: Greenwich Cemetery. Viewing: 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday in the chapel of the funeral home. Reposing at 9 a.m., until hour of service.
