William Gray, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. William Gray was born February 4, 1935 to the late Mr. Cleveland and Mrs. Eva Gray.
He received his education in the Philadelphia, PA. He later moved to Savannah, Georgia. On September 27, 1965 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Forrie Johnson. Then two became one, Mr. and Mrs. William Gray. He worked as a seaman for many years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by two siblings.
He leaves to cherish his many memories: a devoted wife, Mrs. Forrie Gray; three sons, Mr. Hank Williams of Florida, Mr. Stevie Gray of Philadelphia and Mr. Antonio Gray (Taquiesha), of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Ms. Sandra Gray and Mrs. Patricia Ann Chrisburg (Mitchell) both of Philadelphia; tweleve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Cleveland Gray of Savannah, GA and Robert William Gray of Florida; three sisters, Isabelle Alexander, Lula Mae Heath (Charles) both of Savannah, GA, and Rebecca Bolden, of Newark, NJ; six brothers-in-law; nine sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Williams & Williams Funeral Home.
