Willie Lee King Mott, 84, of Savannah, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Sampson, North Carolina, but had lived in Savannah since 1977.
She was a homemaker, and a faithful member of Burkhalter Baptist Church, now Crossroads Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Sunday School, and Church Training Department. She was active in the Senior Saint Program of the Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, James L. Mott, Jr., and her parents, Henry Herbert King and Lee Esther Barefoot King.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Mott, Sr., Savannah,Ga; 2 daughters, Barbara Jean Mott and Pamela Ann VanWelde, both of Savannah, Ga; brother, Henry Herbert King, Jr., of Richmond, Virginia; 2 sisters, Susan K. Coleman of McKinney, Virginia; and Della Jeanette Buckley of Richmond, Virginia; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Crossroads Baptist Church, with interment in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
