Mrs. Willie Mae Robinson was born August 8, 1929 to Doll Griffin and Steven Prescott in Sardis, Georgia.
Mrs. Robinson was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Eugene Robinson. Eight children became a part of their union. She was a loving, kind housekeeper who cared deeply for her family. Her delight for her family was evidenced in cooking and feeding her family.
On November 22, 2009 Mrs. Robinson's earthly assignment was completed and she was summoned to another home. She leaves to mourn: two sons, Larry Prescott and Clarence (Joann) Parker; one step-son, Eugene robinson; six daughters, May Prescott, Dollie M. Williams, Charlotte Frazier, Phyliss Williams (Carl), Barbara Prescott and Connie Prescott; one sister, Annie v. Grant; twenty eight grandchildren; forty five great grands; fifteen great great grands; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John Baptist Church, 522-28 Hartridge Street, Rev. Dr. George P. Lee, III, officiating. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery. Reposing at the church from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service.
